Grand Trophy for Safety Among Small Carriers in North America

The Truckload Carriers Association announced the 2022 Grand Trophy for Safety among the small carrier division for all of North America on March 7th, and FTC Transportation won this prestigious honor making it the 4th time in nine years to bring home the Grand Trophy.

JW "Shorty" Carrington Earned His Wings

The Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) has named JW “Shorty” Carrington from Columbia, Louisiana, a Highway Angel for informing a fellow truck driver that his rig was on fire, then extinguishing the flames before it got worse. Shorty joined the FTCT family in 2017.
Tony Barton Named Highway Angel

The Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) has named truck driver Tony Barton, from Blountville, Tennessee, a Highway Angel for using his truck to block and protect a vehicle and driver that had crashed during a late-afternoon crash. Tony drives for FTC Transportation, Inc. based in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Emory Mills Named TCA's Safety Professional of the Year

The Truckload Carriers Association awarded FTC Transportation’s Director of Safety & Driver Administration Emory Mills as the recipient of its 2022 TCA Safety Professional of the Year — Clare C. Casey Award. The announcement was made this week during TCA’s 41st Annual Safety & Security Meeting in Nashville, Tennessee.
This honor is bestowed upon a trucking industry professional whose actions and achievements have made a profound contribution to enhancing safety on North America’s highways.
Robert Rossi Named ATA's National Driver of the Year

We are excited to announce that our own Robert Rossi was named the American Trucking Association’s (ATA) National Driver of the Year this past Thursday evening in Orlando during their National Conference. Robert Rossi joined the FTCT team in 2016, and has been named FTC Transportation’s Driver of the Year for the past two consecutive years.
