On May 17, 2017, Bo Duval, Senior Safety Representative for Great West Casualty Company, presented two platinum safety awards to FTC Transportation as part of its annual Workplace and National Safety Awards Programs.
The Workplace Safety Awards program recognizes trucking companies for their dedication to creating and fostering a safe work environment for their employees. Awards are based on a motor carrier’s year-end workplace incident rate. Carriers are eligible to receive a Platinum Gold, Silver or Participatory award.
The National Safety Awards program recognizes motor carriers in similar operations (truckload and less than truckload) with awards based on their year-end preventable crash results. Carriers are eligible to receive a Platinum Gold, Silver or Participatory award.
FTC Transportation has achieved the Platinum National Safety Award for the past eight consecutive years (2009-2016), as well as the Platinum Workplace Safety Award for seven years (2009-2011 & 2013-2016) with a Gold Award in 2012.
