FTC Transportation once again participated in one of our favorite annual events, the Pioneer Library’s Touch-A-Truck event held in Norman, Oklahoma.  The Cleveland County Fairgrounds was flooded with hundreds of children and their families this past Saturday, as they raced to explore all types of large vehicles.

This annual event brings participation from all over the community with helicopters, fire trucks, police cars, buses, ambulances, and (our favorite) 18 wheelers.  Jeff Scott positioned one of FTCT’s tractor trailers at the event, and just as soon as he was parked people were lining up to climb inside the cab.  Children and adult alike are always excited to see the inside of the cab, checking out the bunk area, refrigerator, and, of course, the air horn.

We had a great time sharing what we do with the public, answering questions, and passing out fruit snacks and coloring sheets.  Thank you, Pioneer Library, for putting on this terrific community event each year, and for inviting FTCT to be a part of it!
